The Practice had been unsuccessfully searching for a suitable site for several years, but working to their brief, Kitto Developments identified and secured a viable site within the target area.
Kitto Developments with their design team developed a proposal that accorded with the Client requirements including their tight budgetary constraints and obtained planning permission for the new surgery. The Practice then purchased the site from Kitto Developments and entered into a design and build contract with Kitto Construction to complete the scheme.
The new build surgery is part single and part two storey with eight high quality consulting rooms, two treatment rooms, waiting areas, reception desk & offices and toilets & disabled facilities on the ground floor. A small surgical suite enables Doctors to perform minor operations.
The external works included parking for 40 vehicles in two separate parking areas (one exclusively for staff and delivery vehicles) both within an extensive secure landscaped setting. The project was completed under the budget and five weeks ahead of programme.
