Construction of 9, 2-bedroom flats

Following the purchase of the site at Beaufort Road, Downend for the new Leap Valley Medical Centre, it became apparent that there was surplus space to allow the construction of a new 9 unit 2-bedroom apartment block.

A scheme was developed and planning consent was obtained for the scheme in mid 2014 .

The scheme started on site in November 2014 and was completed in June 2015.

Each of the flats is approximately 62m2 in area and comprises two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and store room.  Kitto Developments provided a turn-key solution with the works incorporating the installation of finishes, kitchens, sanitary ware and white goods.

The scheme also includes 12 parking spaces and 10m3 of attenuation in accordance with Wessex Water requirements and the recommendations of the Flood Risk Assessment prepared for the site.

The scheme on completion was sold to Bristowe Fair Rent Housing Association.
