We pride ourselves on our ability to take on complex projects and turn them into successful developments. So when we were presented with the opportunity to purchase a site that was complicated by services crossing the site and high voltage overhead power cables in close proximity, we saw it as a challenge rather than a roadblock.

We knew that the key to success lay in finding a way to navigate these issues while still delivering a high-quality product that met the needs of our clients. To do this, we negotiated with a care home provider on an adjacent property, who agreed to partner with us to bring the project to fruition. This partnership allowed us to tap into their expertise and resources, ensuring that the finished product would exceed the expectations of our clients and their residents.

With the partnership in place, and through working closely with the expert team at O’Leary Goss Architects, we set to work on designing and constructing 20 self-contained apartments, totalling 1950 square meters, all while working within the constraints imposed by the site's challenges. It wasn't easy, but our team of experienced professionals worked tirelessly to overcome each hurdle, always keeping the end goal in mind.

We were able to complete the project in February 2023, despite the added challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. And the result? A stunning assisted living facility that not only meets but exceeds the standards of quality and safety that our clients have come to expect from Kitto Developments.

But don't just take our word for it – the project's £3.1 million value speaks for itself. And the fact that we were able to sell the land to the client (Housing 21) and deliver the build on a Design and Build basis is a testament to our commitment to collaboration and partnership.
