Kitto Construction have undertaken a number refurbishment and new build projects for various independent, private, public and grant-maintained schools, universities and colleges of further education.
With their clients, Kitto Construction operates from the beginning of the construction process, preparing a feasibility proposal incorporating design, cost and programme at no cost to the school, to assess the viability of the school’s proposals. This saves the school from spending their funds on any abortive fees on schemes which are unviable.
Once the school are confident that they can afford the scheme, Kitto Construction works with them to develop a design proposal, obtain planning consent and then implementing the construction works towards a turn-key solution for the budget and programme agreed during the feasibility stage.
Kitto Construction has particular experience working in live environments, in a phased manner and in undertaking works to Listed Buildings and/or in Conservation Areas.
Work is timed to suit the client’s business with the particularly noisy works planned around the school holidays.
Kitto Construction delivers each completed scheme to a very high standard, on time and on budget every time through partnering arrangements with their supply chain, which stretches back many years.
Completed projects include a pre-school centre, DT workshops, classroom blocks, a library and resource centre, drama studios/theatre, sports halls, pavilions, student accommodation, science and music departments for a number of private schools and academies.
